What are “furniture grade” PVC fittings?
Furniture Grade PVC fittings are not intended to be used for plumbing purposes. Fittings do not have any embossed or stamped markings on them and have a beautiful glossy finish with tapered edges. They are designed to fit over standard sizes of Schedule 40 PVC water pipe which is available at local hardware and building material stores. Furniture grade PVC is typically used by do-it-yourself for various home projects such as carts, cages, shelving, canine cots, greenhouses, patio furniture, and dog agility equipment.
